Road flooding

Reported in the Flooding or standing water on road category by Cllr Damon Brown (Ward Councillor - Exhall Ward - NBBC) at 05:39, Mon 16 December 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

Flooding at New Road, Ash Green during periods of rainfall. The standing water on the road floods the whole width of the road and the footpath. The footpath is on the Safer Routes to School linking the village of Keresley with Ash Green School. The flooding also affects properties the adjacent Elwy Circle mobile home park - he water floosa access to several properties and the water spray from passing vehicles covers properties in dirty water. It is unclear whether the flooding is the result of blocked or inadequate drains or requires the road to be redesigned so that run off from the farmland lying to the south of the road is drained elsewhere.
