Road flooding regularly
Reported in the Flooding or standing water on road category anonymously at 12:48, Fri 13 December 2019
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1886902.
The Holloway is regularly flooding. Discussing the issue with other residents, some who have lived here for decades, it has been noted that this is happening more and more regularly. It is accepted that The Holloway has always flooded at times of extreme weather but this has always been once every several years. One resident has counted this happening 12 times this year alone. Local resident have taken it upon themselves to ensure that the drains are kept clear but the general consensus seems to be that the sewers are blocked as they haven't been cleared in years. The photo included is no where near as bad as it has been at point this year but is just an example of what is happening.

Flooding is happening on regular basis with minimal rain. Drains are not flowing at all even after recent cleaning. Water is causing damage to verge, hedgerow and driveway at Ivy Cottage. Extensive regular flooding has also washed away soil to expose gas pipework.

This issue has not been resolved and is getting worse. Flooding occurs more frequently as the drainage blocks when it rains.
