This flooding is getting worse as the rain keeps coming. It is now right across the road at a depth that will probably cause a car (particularly diesel engined) to blow up its engine. THis will result in road closure and more diversions on a busy road the B4495. The cause is blocked storm drain gullies but these flow into an underground culvert that passes underneath the nearby canal so that culvert should be checked at it exit side by the Canal & River Trust's regular team. Why has this problem not been sorted 8 days after it was first reported?
