Side of carriageway disintegrating at field entrance
Reported in the Pothole category by Tony Merrygold at 16:11, Sat 7 December 2019
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1878704.
Side of carriageway disintegrating at field entrance. The lane is narrow at this point and when there is two way traffic the vehicle heading south is at risk of going into a hole several inches deep and causing damage to wheels, tyres and suspension. This is relatively easy to see on a dry day in daylight but the hole fills with water in the recent rain and it is not obvious that there there is a large hole there. Similarly it is virtually invisible at night and is likely to result in an accident.

This has been repaired but very badly. A small amount of tarmac has been used to fill the hole and the edge angled of at probably 30 degrees. so not as severe as before but probably still a hazard in the dark or when obscured by puddles. Part of the holes has loose tarmac in it as if someone emptied a bucket of tarmac into it. Not the standard of repair one would expect.
