  • Excessive rain - now have large lake across width of road. Large additional puddles on Lapworth Street between water tower and motorway bridge. Drains or gulleys have been blocked for 12 months or more. Photos sent to council and report number obtained. If drains had been cleared, all this natural water flow would have kept them running clear.

  • Ok ...Flooding and blocked drain continually reported during 2018/19 Finally Jan 5th 2020 after we had been blessed with a dry spell of weather which revealed the drain was still there. It was marked with yellow Paint? Chalk? With ‘JET’. Then Rain came down & washed the writing away. 😱 Fortunately a week to 10 days later contractors arrived to ‘JET’ the drain. Woohoo! Unfortunately it was a pathetic wasted effort because as soon as rain fell again. Yes, drain full, Road and entrance to property flooded! Sorry Warwick Council but your Contractors & who ever decided what needed doing not suprisingly FAILED! What is needed is the drain and pipes pumped out, then jetted to clear blockages. It isn’t Rocket science as to what needs doing. All you have done is wasted Valuable taxpayers money. Please remedy this problem effectively and soon.
