The rainfall ponds regulary in this spot and takes some while to disperse (There is no drain for it to go to). Problem seems a lot worse of late. It splashes pedestrians on the pavement as well as making some traffic swerve - when there is flooding elsewhere in the village some drivers think it is worse that it is (especially at night). The water shown here in the photo on Tuesday 26 November 2019 at 1.00pm is relaively low.

With recent heavy rain, water is running off a nearby saturated field, down the road and continuing to gather here. Severn Trent have confirmed it's field run-off rather than a leak and it's been affecting the road badly for three days now.
