Overgrown vegetation obstructing pavement
Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 09:23, Mon 11 November 2019
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1840524.
Just so we are clear, this complaint is regarding Tiddington Road, Stratford upon Avon, when that road is entered on your website the response is 'is it Warwick Road'!!!! This is written on behalf of Tiddington Road Residents Association (TRRA). Two matters, Firstly No 51 Tiddington Road is allowing a large hedge to encroach onto the pavement. The house has been unoccupied for some time as work is being carried out by new purchaser, although nothing seems to be happening at the moment. A message has been given to a workman on site some time ago about the hedge to no avail. Secondly, closer to town opposite the turning to Loxley Road, it is difficult for two people to walk abreast or couples to pass each other, the hedge, leaves and general growth are spreading across the pavement. Basically it is mess. It is not just a case of sending a pavement leaf sweeper machine along to tidy it up. It needs a blitz by a team to prune the whole lot back. We pay a fair amount of Council Tax along this road and perhaps this could be reflected in some tidying up please. Tony Hill (agrhill@aol.com) pp TRRA
