Manhole sinking.

Reported in the Gully or manhole defect category by Brian Mc Dermott at 16:24, Thursday 31 October 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later

This drain serves to remove surface water at the rear of Hoods way and Addison Road . It also serves to remove water from Blackwood avenue during periods of heavy rain. Last year if you check your records we had a bad flooding problem which was dealt with by yourselves. At that time it was pointed out that the drain was sinking and soil around the drain was being washed away. As you can see from the photographs a temmporay fix was made round the drain and we were advised that they would cone back a later stage to hopefully rectify the problem. The temporarry fix has been washed away and lumps of concrete falling down the drain. The drain itself has sunk further. I am concerned if this is not dealt with we will have major flooding during exceptional heavy rain. Thankyou Brian Mc Dermott 01778 331972.
