Diversion of HGV traffic over 7.5t weight limit bridge spanning M42

Reported in the Road works problem category anonymously at 21:46, Thu 17 October 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later

Resurfacing work is being carried out on Hams Hall island. The island is closed to traffic. All traffic heading north on the A446 is being diverted up Marsh Lane and through Curdworth. There are articulated lorries coming over the motorway bridge that are exceeding the weight limit. The volume of traffic including HGV’s coming through the village is unacceptable and needs to be addressed before a serious accident / collision occurs.
