Diversions being ignored by arctic trucks using village as short cut and going over weight restricted 7.5 ton bridge

Reported anonymously at 12:23, Thu 17 October 2019

Sent to North Warwickshire Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later

Artic trucks over 7.5 ton going over bridge from hams hall island and through village deliberately avoiding diversions. Totally unacceptable unsafe and irresponsible of highways authority not to prevent this. Causing access problems for villagers damage to parked vehicles and new potholes on marsh lane just from last nights heavy traffic

  • Problem seems to be ongoing as no changes to signage diversions etc and our councillor has not had any feedback from you despite contacting you today. Hope. no damage to parked vehicles tonight on cctv as insurance company has said highway authority should act now reports have been made as to vehicles breaking law and subsequently damaging vehicles
