Imagine my delight when the yellow lines were being painted on Bell Lane in Studley recently. Now imagine my despair when I discover there is a six foot gap where no lines were painted! Not long enough for a regular car. And we still get two regular cars parking there. I was fortunate to take this photo with no cars parked. I thought at first that perhaps a car was parked on the road when the line painting was taking place and so you reached under the back and front of the car to paint.... I received this reply Thank you for getting in contact with ourselves with regards to the small section of missing Double Yellow Lines in Bell Lane Studley. You'll be happy to know that we are currently in the process of addressing this issue, we are proposing to extend and join the Double Yellow Lines along this section of carriageway which in-turn will remove the small area of parking which is causing the issue. Kind Regards, Marcus Alford-Longley, Parking & Road Safety Engineer Still waiting...... nothing has been done!
