I live on this road, it is a cul’de’sac, my house is the last house by number on the road, it should be a reasonably quiet road, but, cars , lorries, vans and motorbikes are continually driving into this road by mistake, thinking they can reach the shops or car park, at which point they turn around and race back out, exceeding the 20mph speed limit. It is a narrow road in places and is residential mostly, there is no footpath and a lot of children and women with pushchairs use the road, cars racing along it is not safe! The problem stems from the road having the same name and post code as the next road over, this should have been altered when the road was rerouted, many years ago! I don’t know who is responsible for this, it really is a problem for the residents of this road, in many ways, delivery people struggle to find us, goods go missing or get cancelled it is more than inconvenient! There are other roads in town that have on their signs 1-4 such and such a road, but we have nothing to distinguish us from the other road of the same name, very few drivers see the sign saying no access to supermarket, too high and too small, there is no speed limit sign on the road, it seems to have been ignored. Something needs to be done. Moorfield Road B49 5DA, Alcester

No it has not and will not be fixed, one of my neighbours has had to have his seven foot high wall rebuilt because a huge lorry took the wrong Moorfield Road, it turned around in the turning area, which is meant for small vehicles, and hit his wall, dislodging bricks and making the whole structure unsafe! We had a similar problem when one nearly yanked one of our double gates off, the council are no help whatsoever!
