The gully was rebuilt and jetted a few weeks ago but the problem remains. It is possible that the outlet pipe was blocked when the Environment Agency rebuilt the river bank in 2017. Water gets away very slowly but the flooding is there whenever there is heavy rain.

Gully and pipe was again jetted yesterday but we will not know if it's fixed until we get some rain.
Also the tarmac around the repaired gully has already ripped out due to traffic. It needs a hot asphalt replacement.

The gully is now working properly but the tarmac around it has failed and it is now in danger of collapsing - which will be very much more expensive to repair than replacing the tarmac now.
