Hazard from Trees and bushes sticking out into the road making a dangerous corner more dangerous
Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 07:40, Tue 1 October 2019
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 6 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1787289.
A lot of the cars which use this road as a cut through for the motorway and often the cars which use the train station travel so fast down this road (like a race track) it’s very dangerous and often pedestrians have to dive into the bush to avoid cars. The bushes protruding out way past the road verge make the school buses take up the whole road on a blind bend which I’m surprised no one has been killed on this road yet.

This has not yet been fixed. The trees overhanging into the path of taller vehicles cause a blind bend to be even more hazardous

The trees are still posing a massive hazard to vehicles pedestrians cyclists using this road. Often school buses, train station users, and people racing their cars to join the motorway down this road have to take emergency measures because of vehicles in the middle of the road. Massive risk for horses, cyclists, pedestrians etc

No chance. The trees are massively sticking out and it’s severely hazardous for pedestrians, horse riders, cyclists, car drivers, and more importantly when higher sided vehicles are using this road everyone else has to drive into the hedge to avoid a collision. It’s only a matter of time before someone is seriously hurt. It’s worse when the trains get into the station and the drivers treat it like a le-mans style start, run to their cars and drive like lunatics down this road and personally had more than a few incidents with drivers just driving straight into the road junction without looking. As I always drive slow along this road I have had plenty of time to take avoiding action.
