Outside lane leads traffic into oncoming traffic at the roundabout for the A435 and A46 and poses a serious hazard
Reported in the Road markings category anonymously at 17:22, Fri 27 September 2019
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1783695.
When leaving the roundabout to head East along the A435 an outer lane is marked but this disappears and directs traffic head on into traffic coming from the West. I have witnessed several close calls here and I believe there have been accidents also. It would appear that as only one lane continues along the A46 there should be line markings for one lane only leaving the roundabout, perhaps cross hatching the current outer lane area to provide a refuge. The current layout is a serious accident waiting to happen (if indeed it has not already occurred).

The council have inspected the area and acknowledge the dangers presented by the lane layout. They have advised they will add lane keep left markings when the are next undertaking road markings in the area.
While travelling west on the A46 towards the roundabout today, 26 October 2019, I witnessed another motorist caught out by the lane markings and had to take evasive action.
