Overhanging vegetation obscuring view of road and entrances on exit of roundabout
Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 15:50, Fri 27 September 2019
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1783562.
The vegetation on the left of the roundabout at the start of the B4090 completely covers the verge and extends over onto the road. The vegetation used to finish behind the lamppost seen in pictures supplied but has been allowed to grow to its present condition over the last 3-4 years. The grass verge on both the roundabout and the B4090 has been cut by contractors however they have not ensured the other vegetation is cut back. The effect of this is to severely obscure the view from the exit of the roundabout of the road ahead and of the entrances to Turnpike House/SIG Roofspace on the right and the private property 'Heathvale' on the left. Near misses occur on a weekly basis as vehicles entering the B4090 cannot be clearly seen, particularly from the entrance to Heathvale and vice versa. The Vegetation which is a mixture of bramble and mixed trees needs to be cut back by at least 3 meters.
