This is a difficult issue as the drain is a soak away and goes right across the park and is very old. May be this drain needs to be linked up with the other two in the road that drain properly and are not on the soak away.

This is still a problem. Getting a small lake each time it rains constantly or heavy.

14 November 2019 - again there is a lake in the road. It would appear that the soak away drain is blocked and also one other - adding to the water level. The water is not far from the entrance to the park, so it makes it difficult for people on foot. Please can someone sort this out. Thank you

Malthouse Court is a private access road believed to belong to either Stratford District Council, Orbit Housing or Parish Council. The land does not belong to Warwickshire County Council and we therefore have no authority to carry out works on the road.

It is an un-adopted road and is the responsibility of Stratford District Council (SDC). It is disappointing that this 'fix my street' information could not have been passed to them via Warwickshire County Council. I have been in touch with SDC via this web site before with no issues. This is an ongoing problem over many, many years. I have spoken to SDC and they have confirmed that the issue will be dealt with. It has not yet been fixed.

Still not fixed. When there is a heavy rain storm it becomes a lake and pedestrians have problems getting through and it washes up onto residents drives. Not the best situation. If you could pass this information onto SDC it would be very much appreciated.

After calling SDC an email has now been sent in the hope that something will be done. There are three drains in the cul de sac and two are now blocked. Please pass this information onto SDC who are responsible for this section of road. Thank you.

The drains are still blocked and no noticeable action has been taken. Spoke to a guy at SDC who said they would look into a long term fix - no information on what will be done and when.

If there is a heavy downpour the road is still flooding. This is the responsibility of SDC as it is an unadopted road i.e. Warwickshire has never adopted it - however, SDC does have a responsibility to fix this problem.

Two guys appeared at the end of last week and worked on the drains. The soak away drain does need a long term solution though as it has been an issue for a very, very long time.

Woke up today to find a huge lake. Walkers into the park have to wade through it. Residents have to wade through to get to the cars on their drives and its starting to lift the block paving by the bungalows. Please pass this information on to Stratford Distict Council.

Still not resolved. This piece of road is the responsibility of Stratford District Council (SDC)- it was never adopted by Warwickshire County Council. Please forward this information to SDC. The Parish Council has written to SDC and contacted them on a further occasion because no action has been taken. It has been well over 8 months since this was reported and this is an on-going problem, to my knowledge for 14 years.

Still no action has been taken. It is Stratford District Council's responsibility and it has been nearly a year since this issue was first posted. If Warwickshire County Council could ask the question as to what is happening, it would be greatly appreciated.

Someone from Stratford District Council has been out. When they arrived there was no water in the road. Several days later it rained and photos were sent to them via email. Do not know what is happening.

It has now been 1 year and 2 days since this was first put on fix my street. The road is the responsibility of Stratford District Council and not Warwickshire Highways however, 1 year and 2 days does seem like along time to get the drains fixed. A guy from Stratford District Council did send someone out to look however, when they arrived it was not flooded. Not heard anything since. We are now coming into Autumn and Winter and it will flood. Any chance any one could ask SDC to do something please?
