Overgrown verges on Shilton to Ansty road.
Reported anonymously at 17:54, Sat 21 September 2019
Sent to Rugby Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1775768.
The shown location is on the B4029 about 1/2 mile from Shilton heading towards Ansty. This particular example of overgrown verge is by no means the only part of the pavement (path) where weeds(in particular nettles) are overgrowing from the verges and covering the pavement forcing pedestrians onto the road. As can be seen the road gutters are also very overgrown with weeds and all the drains require urgent cleaning. The pavement outde Ansty Hall is again overgrown as well. This is not the first time this disgracefull neglect has been reported.

Please forgive me but the verges between Shilton and Ansty have now been trimmed. I only reported it yesterday so perhaps I have been over hasty reporting it. I apologise again and hope you can keep up the good work. The roadside gutters and drain still need looking at but at least it is now safe to walk along the pavemeny(pathway). Many thanks , Regards J. Irvine.
