Overgrown hedge and tree on verge - Contravenes conservation area policy
Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 10:11, Sat 14 September 2019
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1767110.
The hawthorn hedge and self-setting tree on the verge have are overgrown and are growing partially into vicarage road (left side of road (when driving towards the end of the road) forming boundary to the open field; specifically the section extending from road to the river to the Birch tree opposite the drive to Copper Beeches). This hedge has not been maintained for over 4 years. In contravention of the published conservation area policy for Stoneleigh, the hedge and tree are obstructing the view to Motslow Hill, which according to policy should be preserved from Vicarage Road. The grass has also not been maintained this year.
