Sherbourne road sign at Fulbrook Lane / A429 knocked over
Reported in the Road signs category by Tony Merrygold at 14:56, Sun 8 September 2019
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1760161.
The Sherbourne road sign at the junction of the A429 (½ mile south of Longbridge Island) and Watery Lane / Fulbrook Lane has been knocked over. It is next to a couple of parking bays in front of the Lodge and I am guessing that a lorry or similar reversed into this while manoeuvring.
I first noticed it on Friday so it happened fairly recently.
The main sign is in good condition but both posts are severely damaged – lots of old rust damage anyway which probably didn’t help.
Two pictures attached one fairly wide angle and then a closer one showing the base of the posts.
The very end of the Warwick 1 ½ sign is bent round (has been for years) so it would be good to straighten this out at the same time.
