Pedestrian crossing

Reported in the Road works problem category anonymously at 15:05, Mon 2 September 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 5 minutes later

1st September 2019 using a tri-walker to get about, I started to cross from the pavement outside Northgate House to the opposite side pavement near to Northgate Street. An unsighted car came up North Rock/Saltisford and had to brake hard to avoid hitting me, inso doing left tyre marks on the road surface. Continuing to cross, another car came round the corner from the Butts and I had to wait whilst it passed close in front of me. I am concerned that there does not appear to be any recognition of pedestrians crossing the road in the new layout apart from a refuge in the middle. ie no road markings or Belisha beacons or formal pedestrian crossing.
