Overgrown bushes narrowing the footpath dangerously
Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category by Cllr Damon Brown (Ward Councillor - NBBC) at 17:37, Monday 19 August 2019
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later
The hedges alongside the footpath at the side of New Road leading from Keresley towards Ash Green are overgrown, especially in the area from the lay-by leading to Pro-Logis Park to the section adjacent to The Haven Care Home. The footpath is used by children going to and from Keresley to attend Ash Green School and is part of a Safer Routes to School. At present the footpath has been narrowed so that people have to walk in the road. The bushes need cutting back and the accumilated vegetation removed so that the footpath is restored to its intended full width.
Warwickshire County Council has received your report which will be reviewed accordingly. There are no automatic updates to the status of this report - this is something we are working on as part of the improvements to fault reporting.

This has not yet been attended to and the footpath is now reduced even further forcing pedestrians to walk in the road on a blind bend. The footpath is part of a Safer Route to School. I require the bushes to be cut back and collected debris removed with the full width of the pavement restored asap please
