I received a call from a representative of Warwickshire CC highways who said the offending sunken drain/ironwork WOULD be repaired as a part of the Furnace Road/Johnson Road/Regent Street/Wooten Street roundabout resurfacing. It hasn’t. In fact, the planned work isn’t even finished - there are still uneven areas exiting Johnson Road, and the lines have not been repainted!

The problem I reported has STILL not been marked for remedial work. I will be calling my local Councillor, Bhagwant Phander to complaint. He is very keen to keep Johnson Road free of potholes, sunken drains/inspection covers and keep the road surface fit for purpose. You haven’t even repainted the white lines at the junction to the roundabout yet! Appalling contractors, appalling job!

Still awaiting identification, e.g - blue spray paint to signify engineers have been out to mark the offending area. I did receive a telephone call from Warwickshire highways a few days before the resurfacing work on the roundabout with Wooten Street, Regent Street, Johnson Road and Furnace Road commenced. Nothing has happened.

No, this is STILL fixed....! I STILL have to use the opposing side of the road to avoid hitting the offending zone, thus putting me in conflict with oncoming traffic, or, hindering other road users by stopping to allow traffic to pass so I can manoeuvre around said offending zone, saving my tyres and suspension.
Please repair this as soon as you can. I fully appreciate you are constrained by budgets, Manpower and other repairs, but, I was promised by Warwickshire highways that it WOULD be fixed during the resurfacing works are the Roundabout, so, in reality, you have lied.

No, and still hasn’t been fixed since the last time you asked me. Has the County run out of money?
