Unmown grass adjacent to public footpath
Reported anonymously at 13:23, Fri 2 August 2019
Sent to Warwick District Council and Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1717721.
The contractors come along on their Ride-On mowers but do not mow anything that means getting off the machine to manually strim an area. 5 months ago after a site visit this problem was addressed and the area which continually gets overgrown with weeds and brambles from the canal side of the fence was cut back and subsequently mown once. Since then despite numerous emails and replies from the council the area has not been mown. The growth from the unattended area is again taking over, and the next comment will be "we cannot mow that because we cannot see what's there in the long grass we may damage the machine". From previous experience this time next year it will be almost impossible to walk down the path or get to the rubbish bin. The dog fowling will then just be left.

Two more complaints and the matter was address though the root cause, EG the untended growth from the Canal side is still evident

Still open, via questionnaire -
It would appear that for the time being a trained operator is doing this area, the last 2 cuts have cut all but a small section growing through from the Canal and River Trust area.
