Hedges / overgrown foliage

Reported in the Hedges / trees on rights of way category anonymously at 15:03, Thu 1 August 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later

Avonbrook Close, Stratford on Avon. There is a Lime tree on my properties' boundary and its branches are now encroaching over the roof of my house. Could this be looked at with the view to pruning the branches back to give distance between the tree and my roof. With the increasingly violent weather we are now experiencing, damage and safety is my main concern. Also, we have recently had the grass areas mown. I am disappointed that the strimming of weeds outside my garden fence and round the manhole covers, which are quite raised, are not being done, it is very unsightly. I did see a council worker following on from the mower with his strimmer but he did not venture down very far to see if there was any strimming required.
