Series of collapsed manhole covers - due to too much traffic

Reported in the Gully or manhole defect category anonymously at 08:19, Tue 30 July 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later

I can’t take photos as the council won’t provide a safe crossing anywhere on this part of the road. There are several drains/manhole/gas work ? which are considerable sunken probably due to extremely high volume of traffic , in particular the fleets of lorries that pass by ( over the speed limit as no restrictions in place here either ) the lorries physically shake our house from top to bottom ( causing objects to move at times ) when they hit the sunken covers in road . I’m told some were fixed further up the road previously and it helped the violent shaking at least . The issues are on the road northbound in front of my house ( Alwyn ) and King’s Coughton Lane opposite . In the last 3 years they have various work on them ( some throughout the night ) the issue has been significant for at least that amount of time .
