Hedges, trees and weeds blocking footpath

Reported in the Hedges / trees on rights of way category by Kalv Hayer at 11:04, Thu 11 July 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later

There is footpath running from the corner of Park Lane in Snitterfield that runs parallel to (but NOT alongside) the A46 for around 200 metres (Eastbound). This is overgrown and almost impassable. It is also slippery due to many seasons of fallen and rotten leaves and poses a slipping threat to my elderly parents who walk along there.

Updates

  • This is still un passable and uncycleable, despite being labeled as a cycle path and being an alternative to cycling on the a46

  • There has still not been any updates or action from WCC on this issue and my elderly father slipped and injured himself yesterday. If this is not rectified, I will need to escalate the matter due to the possibility that my parents could more seriously injure themselves next time.
