Cars parked at bus stop

Reported in the Bus stops category anonymously at 14:12, Tue 9 July 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later

This relatively new bus stop is constantly blocked by nearby residents who park their cars there. I am disabled, needing to walk with a rollator, and use this stop regularly. Modern buses are designed so that people with mobility problems can get on and off quite easily, provided that the bus driver can draw in to the kerb before lowering the step. Unfortunately, if he is unable to do so, and has to park in the middle of the road, then access for the disabled person is very difficult. Can you PLEASE consider road markings, informing car drivers that this is a bus stop. Also, perhaps, a sign asking them not to park there from, say, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Maybe some double yellow lines. I do hope that you can do something to resolve this difficult situation. (Bus stop on Leam Road, near to Vulcan Way.)
