Shrubs and bushes overgrowing onto pathways. Grass not being cut.

Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 11:54, Mon 1 July 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later

There are several shrubs and bushes from the bottom of St Lukes Way up to the top of the road leading to St Mathews and St Marks Close. I contacted Nuneaton and Bedworth council to be told they do not have a maintenance contract with WCC. These areas are an eyesore and have been neglected for years or tended via self help. After paying council tax at high rates we would expect such a contract to be in place for general areas and road sweeping. I imagine some of the shrubbery may also fall under the neighbours remit but they may not be aware as they are not within closed walls/fences.
