I reported the problem of a blocked road gully outside of our house on 25.02.19. I advised that after rainfall the blocked gully causes standing water to develop. This in turn gets sprayed all over my boundary fence and driveway which is not acceptable. The problem has not been fixed, even though I have seen a gully sucker on Ashlawn Road about a month ago. I was however encouraged by the site of a road cone that had been placed over the gully, but this was for a couple of weeks until it got squashed by a vehicle. The recent heavy rain has caused severe flooding outside my house and I am concerned that the life of my fence has been shortened due to the constant soaking. Please can you arrange for the gully to be cleaned-out and the outlet from rodded or jetted to remove the blockage.
