Sent to Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1673437.
The pipe 'owned' by the county council running from the manhole outside of Further Moors, across the trap house drive, alongside Willowdale to the stream between Willowdale and Lindsey Lodge is still cracked and pouring water on the road in rain.
RECENTLY A REPAIR WAS ATTEMPTED BY HIGHWAYS, BY FILLING IN THE DEEP HOLE BY THE TELEGRAPH POLE (BY THE ENTRANCE TO THE TRAP HOUSE )- BUT IT DOESN'T APPEAR ANY ATTEMPT WAS MADE TO FIX THE PIPE - SO THE TARMAC ETC OF THE REPAIR IS NOW SPREAD ACROSS THE ROAD AS WHEN IT RAINED IT BURST THROUGH THIS REPAIR. THIS REPAIR ALSO CAUSED MORE WATER TO POUR OUT OF THE MANHOLE COVER OUTSIDE FURTHER MOORS (WHICH IS THE COUNCILS NOT FURTHER MOORS) AND THE WATER STOPCOCK HOLE OUTSIDE OF WILLOWDALE.
THE ROAD IS BECOMING FLOODED WITH WATER AND ITS CAUSING CARS COMING AROUND THE BLIND BEND TO SKID.
-----------------
Blocked pipe - significant flooding in heavy/sustained rainfall The surface water drain that runs underground from the manhole cover on the verge outside of Further Moors, across the drive for the Trap House and then alongside Willowdale to the stream between Willowdale and Lindsey Lodge appears to be blocked and broken (as has occurred previously and was repaired a number of years ago [PEM Reference 352222 ] ) - consequently in sustained/heavy rainfall, water is bursting up through the ground and flooding the area. It has created a large hole by the telegraph pole adjacent to the drive for the Trap House, which is now encroaching from the verge onto the pavement, it is also coming up through the water stop-cock access by Willowdale . Both flows are then flooding the area at the bottom of the hill and traffic is coming round the bend into significant surface water flooding, braking hard and skidding.
