Clowns and cowboys double standards of allowed works

Reported in the Road works problem category anonymously at 14:32, Wed 19 June 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later

Not only was there no notification of roadworks for the installation of coms and associated disruption and rubbish but the clowns undertaking the work have no traffic management or consideration of safety, they have parked on pavements with outriggers pushing into the pavement, congestion around the entrance to chapel street with a digger bucket laying in the junction the vehicle path through is difficult and single file. Compare that to when i wanted Severn Trent to change my water meter where we had to apply for road closure and closure of the crossing for a 15min job ON THE PAVEMENT - unbelievable. The finished job elsewhere looks terrible and trip hazards a plenty. I suggest walking the whole length of the works for snags then getting Openreach to use a proper contractor to put it right. This lot should not be permitted to work on the county roads. The village looks a mess.
