Some young trees on Long Furlong require new support
Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 16:14, Wed 12 June 2019
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1658112.
The wooden poles supporting some young trees on Long Furlong need replacing as they have rotted at the base. The rubber ties also need replacing. These can be found in front of 29, 31,and 37 Long Furlong. It would be a shame to lose these. We could do with some additional inspection of trees on this road and some additional plantings on Long Furlong and Fawsley Leys. The planting that has already been carried out is much appreciated. Thank you for your past and anticipated actions.

The tree supports have been removed but not replaced. High winds during summer months wave the trees about and significantly bend the stem. The supports need replacing but perhaps it is better to wait until the Autumn when the ground is moist. Extra planting during the Autumn would be appreciated. Thanks
