Grass not cut
Reported anonymously at 10:48, Thu 16 May 2019
Sent to Warwick District Council and Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1631433.
When the contractors mow the grass they are happy to drive around on the compact mowers but sadly only ever mow the grass they can easily drive over. They fail to address anything that necessitates them climbing off the machine and cutting with a strimmer, or for that matter cutting in a manor which if the correct safe driving practice would in the main be possible. The result over a season is the uncut area grows so bad it collects rubbish a weed and bramble growth that cannot the be cut at all. Which in turn over a couple of season means that the whole area becomes over grown and a complete eyesore. Just for the sake of a very small amount of care by the operator. A question does anyone actually ever inspect the work done and paid for by our taxes?

Once again the grass has been cut without getting off to do the more difficult area. Next time the excuse will be we cannot see what's in the long grass so cannot do it in case we damage the machine. Not long now till the brambles grow through from the canal side and turn the area into a no go area which will then start to again collect rubbish and general dumped waste.
