Dead tree on grass verge caused by bark removal by grass cutting operations - see attached photo

Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 22:40, Mon 13 May 2019

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 5 minutes later

Verge side rowan tree has died due to bark being removed at the base of the trunk by mowing equipment. Examples of such bark damage can also be seen on other trees along Eton Road. Could I suggest that the grass cutting sub-contractor is made aware of such damage so that they can review their method of operation. May I request that a replacement tree is planted (together with protection around the base of the trunk)
