Sent to Rugby Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1553695.
Large amounts of litter on Park Road because of the footfall from the town centre... insufficient litter bins to tackle the problem.

Through my original response, this matter was dealt with . . . but this is an ongoing problem. This really needs some constructive strategy or a campaign to tackle this and the excessive litter throughout the town.

Due a public event yesterday (3/8/19) in Caldecott Park, once again the residents of Park Road are subjected to excessive litter from the participants of this concert. Quite frankly it was disgrace, I picked several items of litter last night . . . including bizarrely several strips of bacon – nice.
This really needs a constructive strategy or a marketing campaign from the local authority to tackle this. More litter bins might help especially on the road, as I don't think the 'very small' bin next to the corner shop on Manor Road really does much.
I expect this 'litter' problem to get worse now with the arrival of a McDonalds drive-in at the top of the road –congratulations to Rugby Borough Council for destroying Rugby! Hopefully voters will remember this and vote the conservatives out at the next council election. The town deserves much better – people that actually care about it.

With hot weather & the bank holiday comes litter . . . again the residents of Park Road suffer with excessive rubbish from visitors to Caldecott Park. Friday was particularly bad, as several bags of litter were thrown out of stationary cars where it was pretty obvious they had not paid for parking, something which is becoming all too common on Park Road. The litter consisted of packaging from McDonalds & Pepe’s Chicken. On slightly different note they should be more done to tackle this non payment parking problem.
