Sent to Stratford-on-Avon District Council and Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1527679.
The repair work to verges along Taylor's Lane, Upper Quinton was forecast to be completed on Sunday 27 Jan 2019. The only action carried out was a few shovels full of soil/stone mix at each end of Taylor's Lane and no repairs at all along the length of the road. The deep and dangerous ruts remain (See Pic) The passing places vital for safe passage of the many HGV/bus/car traffic remain rutted and flooded and these places require urgent repair and tarmac surface. (See Pic) The minimal repairs so far completed failed after only one hour of traffic use. The compacted earth/stone mix sunk after the first HGV vehicle drove over the repair. This problem requires a qualified road engineer to walk the full length of Taylor's Lane to assess the damage and prepare an assessment for permanent repair of the road and verges. A few shovels of earth/stone mix is totally inadequate and a waste of Council funds!
