Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1525019.
If you are driving on the A444 away from Nuneaton town and towards Coton Arches (Coton Road) the new signage at the round about is not clear. The two left hand lanes, sign turn left for Avenue Road, with a filter lane but it is not clear which lane to use to exit Coventry Road. Cars are using the first left lane near the kerb for Coventry Road but cars in the right lane are turning into the first left filter lane for Avenue Road. I think the signs need to be changed to show lane1 is Avenue Road, lane 2 is both Avenue and Coventry Road and lane 3 and 4 for A444 South. Also, i wanted to add my disappointed to how this roundabout has increased my journey time. The middle section of the roundabout is not long enough to hold the suffucient amount of cars which are going straight on A444 South direction. The lights are on red once you move through the roundabout, so cars can not carry straight on. So only a set amount of cars in that direction are released before waiting again. It is still quicker to take the left hand lanes to carry onto the A444 rather than waiting to go through the island, which seems a waste of money spent.

We are aware that the lane destination signs do not indicate the B4113 (Coventry Road). We are in the process of arranging for the signs to be amended on both the north and southbound approaches. The signal timings will be monitored in the coming weeks as drivers get used to the new layout and adjustments will be made if necessary. Currently there is still work to decommission the old pedestrian crossing on Avenue Road which requires traffic management so this may be having an adverse effect on the traffic flows at the moment.
