Need for grit on footpaths to primary school

Reported anonymously at 11:59, Thu 24 January 2019

Sent to Stratford-on-Avon District Council and Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later

The frozen pathways around the primary school especially down Tilemans lane are terribly slippery I have struggled to take my daughter down to school safely with her clinging to one arm and me pushing my little boy in pushchair. The road down that way is absolutely fine but amount of lorries up and down there at the moment makes it very dangerous to walk on road and it's not really what we should be encouraging our children to do. The school have been brilliant gritting their surfaces eg. Play ground and pathways. This has been an issue for a long time and a couple of years ago the school closed itself because of how bad the pathways were getting children home safely.
