Unbalanced traffic control (two-way signals)

Reported in the Road works problem category by John Lintern at 11:24, Tue 18 December 2018

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

The traffic control for these roadworks is vastly unbalanced.

Coming from Southam to Leamington during rush hour takes 30 minutes to get through the roadworks. Yet in the opposite direction (Leamington to Southam) there were only 10 cars waiting at the traffic control lights.

This is not the first time this problem has occurred, previous road works this year have had the same 'unbalanced' issue.

The traffic control does not seem to take into account the volume of traffic in each direction, so depending on which direction you are travelling the delay can be 5 minutes or 30 minutes.

These roadworks are planned until 10th January, please resolve this issue ASAP because these road works add an additional 30 minutes to my usual 1 hour commute between Milton Keynes and Leamington Spa (50 miles).
