Uneven/sunken metal covers in pavement just past Temple Speech Room as indicated on map where I caught my toe in sunken cover, tripped resulting in broken elbow

Reported anonymously at 15:57, Sun 25 November 2018

Sent to Rugby Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later

Photos attached were taken 4 weeks after my accident. All of the metal covers are uneven, the middle one (which caught my toe and sent me flying) is significantly sunken. After assessment at UHCW hospital on day of fall (18th Oct) I received ORIF surgery the following day which included a one night stay in hospital. Apart from this costing the NHS thousands of ££ including aftercare clinics and physiotherapy it has caused me a great deal of pain and inconvenience. I have not been able to drive yet nor will before next week at earliest (6 weeks) leaving me dependent and unable to fulfil commitments. My therapy is ongoing, I cannot tell you what the outcome of my therapy will be. I will be interested to read your response
