Dangerously slippery surface on roundabout
Reported anonymously at 14:08, Thu 22 November 2018
Sent to Warwick District Council and Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later
We approached the roundabout from the Cubbington direction and lost control of our tandem and fell off as we were making the right turn on to Lillington Avenue. We were not travelling fast or leaning at a steep angle, but the surface was extremely slippery and uneven and it was impossible to maintain control of our tandem. We could have been seriously injured if there had been traffic directly behind us. Fortunately we have only suffered bruises. The incident occurred at 13:00, and there was no ice on the road at that time. This roundabout is in serious need of resurfacing.

The island has been inspected and proposed for grip testing during the next financial year. In the meantime the local maintenance officer will continue to monitor the site

This is marked as fixed when it isn't. The surface undulations are not good for bikes.
