Mud and debris on road
Reported anonymously at 18:17, Mon 15 October 2018
Sent to North Warwickshire Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1438243.
The National Ploughing competition traffic has churned up the road verges and dragged heavy mud all over the road leading to the village. It is dangerous and dirty.

Mud now covers the entire length of Norton Hill. It is also being worked down onto Main Road in Austrey. There are deep ruts in the verges that would cause severe damage to vehicles if they were to veer off the carriageway. Potholes have appeared in the edges of the road towards the A444. Near the field entry where the ploughing competition was taking place there are a large number of stones and pebbles in the road, dragged off the field. In my opinion these conditions are dangerous, especially to motorcyclists, and a nasty accident could occur if they are not cleared.

The Norton Hill Road is in a very bad state now. Mud covers the road making it slippery. Heavy construction traffic is speeding along the roads. The verges now cannot be used to provide passing places because of deep ruts. The whole of the road needs inspecting and repairing as a matter of urgency
