Dangerous pedestrian crossing on Loxley Road

Reported in the Traffic lights category anonymously at 06:58, Mon 15 October 2018

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later

The pedestrian crossing on Loxley Road is on a bend with limited visibility for both pedestrian and drivers. Speed limit in this stretch of the road is 30mph, however the vast majority of vehicles appear to travel at a higher speed both in the direction of Loxley and in the direction of Wellesbourne making the crossing very dangerous in particular for vulnerable road users (children, elderly people, disabled). This is the only pedestrian crossing available for the entire population of the Chestnut Grove development so it is necessary to address speeding (eg speed bumps) or introduce a traffic light
