Long Shoot Congestion

Reported in the Road works problem category anonymously at 09:44, Wed 10 October 2018

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later

These road works are creating absolute chaos! The temporary lights were set up around the beginning of August 2018 notifying everyone the duration of the work was about 5 weeks. The lights have just gone back up again yesterday with NO prior notification. Congestion in the Milby Estate, along Eastboro Way, the A47, A5 is simply ridiculous now at rush hour times. For me, the stress caused by having to drive this route 4 X times daily is horrible and I'm losing a total of nearly an hour of my work time for a normal 5 - 10 minute drive from Nuneaton into Hinckley. Why can't this work be done overnight? Why are the lights up at rush hour? Why is it with this work going on, the alternative Higham Lane route is ALSO subject to road works at the same time?! An update would be most appreciated because no one seems to know what's going on right now!
