4 inch deep pothole in tarmac footpath outside 49 Holt Avenue
Reported anonymously at 11:44, Sat 18 August 2018
Sent to Warwick District Council and Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1390833.
Damage caused by heavy vehicle parking on footpath around 3 weeks ago. Signs of further damage caused to tarmac beyond pothole as vehicle drove away. Full area affected, including pothole, approx. 10 feet x 2 feet. Significant depth of pothole makes it an obvious trip/fall hazard.

The pothole itself has been very promptly rough filled using a quantity of tamped "coldmac"- so trip/fall hazard removed in the short term. Thanks. The full fix requires excavation etc. to the whole length of the affected area (10 feet) to avoid inevitable deterioration due to weathering. (Overall, it is known that, on both sides, the whole of the pavement along Holt Avenue has weak foundations and cannot take weight of the heavy vehicles which increasingly park (partly) on it).

All damage caused to pavement now fixed to what appears a very satisfactory standard. No obvious reason to think it will be anything other than a permanent repair. Thanks.
