A mature oak on the footpath south of Willes Bridge on the east side of the road opposite the car park display has a split trunk and shows that the core of the tree is dead

Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category by Nigel Briggs at 00:31, Wed 1 August 2018

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later

The tree has a large split in the bark which reveals that the inner core of the trunk is dead and will I guess break in strong winds and fall on the road or footpath.
