Overgrown hedge obstructing view of oncoming traffic
Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 14:11, Wed 11 July 2018
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1361302.
The hedge is obstructing the view of oncoming traffic from Clifton Road end of Butlers Leap.I have to take my LIFE in my hands to try and cross Butlers Leap outside LISL Blanc Aero as the footpath ends outside this factory and to continue along Butlers Leap on my Mobility Scooter I have to cross the road to get to the opposite side where there is a footpath for me to use.If the Highways had any thought then a footpath would be continued along Butlers Leap on the Canal side of the road. Also the original footpaths are in a disgusting condition and travelling along them in a Mobility Scooter is an absolute nightmare as is trying to cross the junction of Great Central Way as the road surface is almost non existent with deep pot holes and very deep ruts.

Is this overgrown vegitation going to be cut back as I have to take my life in my hands trying to cross the road to get to the footpath on the other side of the road as there is NO CONTINUOUS FOOTPATH on the canal side of Butler's Leap. The only dropped kerb crossing place suitable for my Mobility Scooter to cross over is just before Great Central Way on a VERY BLIND BEND with an overgrown hedge restricting vision of oncoming traffic.
