Trees in verge need crowns raising to improve visibility and enable residents to access their vehicles parked on the road in the boulevard section of St Peters Way.

Reported in the Hedges / Trees on road or verge category anonymously at 23:27, Mon 2 July 2018

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later

The developer (Taylor Wimpey) was asked in April 2018 to address the issue due to road safety concerns due to both impact on forward visibility and visibility when exiting properties. They have now advised they have no authority as the highway has now been adopted by WCC. It is disappointing that the issue was not addressed prior to adoption at the developers expense.

  • The trees were not trimmed lat year and as such they are encroaching more into the carriageway. Not raising the crowns is making it even more difficult for residents to get in/out of their cars parked on the road. The soft estate is looking very untidy/unkept - the developer maintained it to a better standard prior to adoption by WCC.
