The kerbs on the relief road have drainage holes in them but they are blocked up by silt and have grass growing out of them.

In the heavy rain a couple of weeks ago the water couldn't drain properly and meant it was like a river down the relief road and onto Lawford road. I run a business on Paynes Lane and we were flooded, I don't believe this was the main cause but I certainly believe that the extra water that couldn't drain from the relief road had to go somewhere so may have been a contributing factor.
